HEYA~!!!
Gosh it has been sooo long isn't it! With baby Laaiqah around it's near impossible to take my own sweet time and create own recipes in the kitchen!
However...this woman gotta eat and she continues to cook for the whole village! Here's my recipe (inspired by Jamie Oliver but added other ingredients along the way...).
Ingredients:
(burger patty)
600g minced beef / chicken (makes 8 patties)
8 pcs cream cracker biscuits (that's right.. cream cracker biscuits!)
4 tbsp Worcestershire sauce (estimation.. as I NEVER use tbsp for my sauces ahahah!!)
2 tbsp Teriyaki sauce
1 egg (whipped)
dash of black pepper
dash of italian herbs
dash of salt
THAT'S IT!
8 burger buns
salad
onion
gherkins
mayo / chilli sauce
cheddar cheese
Fried / baked potato wedges (just buy or make your own wedges.. up to you!)
How to make the burger patties:
1) place cream crackers in a bag and smash them up with your hands (make sure you break those big pieces)
2) Mix all the ingredients (for patty) together. (best to use your clean hands)
3) Once all the ingredients are mixed up well, roll about 8 meatballs and start patting them (about the size of your palm, and about 2 cm thick)
4) heat up a flat pan with a little butter and start grilling the patties! (I used my wonderful HappyCall pan)
5) Press the patty every now and then to ensure that it is cooked inside.
Have fun dressing up your burger!!

Simply Bruschetta~!
I love Bruschetta! It's so simple yet rich in taste! This is a great recipe for those lazy afternoons ;)
Ingredients:
- 4 plum tomatoes chopped (I choose plum tomatoes instead of the big ones as they have less of the squishy centre)
- italian herbs
- a tiny bit of salt
- a dash of parmesan
- olive oil
- 3 slices of white bread
Method:
- Mix the chopped tomatoes with as much italian herbs as you want (I like it a lot... but not TOO much though hehehe..)
- add the tiny bit of salt, a little bit of olive oil (about 2 teaspoon) and some parmesan
- Cut the white bread into halves, lay them on a pan and drizzle some olive oil!
- place the bread in the oven for about 5 mins till they are nice and crispy.
- take the slices of bread out and top them with the tomato mix
- you can place them in the oven again for another minute or two.
- VOILA!!! ENJOY!! =)
